Who we are
This site is operated by Resolute Security Ltd, Carrisbrooke, Foxholes Rd, Horwich, Bolton BL6 6AJ.
Checkout and orders
When you add a product to your basket, your basket is created and stored with our e-commerce platform, Shopify. When you proceed to checkout, you're taken to a secure checkout page hosted by Shopify to complete your order — your name, delivery address and payment details are collected and processed by Shopify on our behalf, under Shopify's own privacy policy. We do not see or store your payment details.
Your basket
The contents of your basket are stored in your browser's local storage so it's remembered between visits. This stays on your device and is not sent to us — only the items you actually add are shared with Shopify, to create and update your cart.
Cookies
When you first visit, you're asked to choose which cookies you're happy with. We use three kinds:
- Necessary — keeps your basket working as you browse. These aren't optional, since the site can't function without them.
- Analytics & advertising — Google's tag, which helps us understand site traffic and measure how our ads are performing. Only loads if you accept it.
- Live chat — the GPTMate widget, only loaded if you accept it or choose to use the chat.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Live chat
This site uses a third-party live chat widget (GPTMate) so you can ask us questions directly. If you use it, the messages you send are processed by that provider in order to respond to you.
Contacting us
If you email or call us, we'll use the details you provide (such as your email address, phone number, or order details) only to respond to your enquiry, order, warranty claim or guarantee claim.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, request a copy of it, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing sales@armaplateresolute.com. This doesn't include data we're required to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes (for example, order records kept for accounting purposes).
